A small but powerful camera for imaging or guiding uses a very sensitive Sony ICX429 CCD chip.

The L429 is a lightweight camera that can be used as an imager or as a very sensitive guider. The Sony ICX429 chip with a diagonal of 8 mm, is big enough for serious deep sky imaging and is one of the most sensitive Sony CCDs. The camera body, entirely CNC machined from an aluminim block, is black anodized with a gloss finish. No other camera in this price range offers what our Lyuba does: - set point cooling - molecular sieve desiccant with external plug for easy replacement. - Delta T of 20 deg. C relative to camera body.
